The classes in DDay Normandy each hold their own unique skill. Learning to use these different classes will get you far in DDay. It is important to work as a team to achieve your goal.

The following classes can be chosen from in DDay Normandy.

Infantry | Officer | Light Gunner | Heavy Gunner | Airborne | Sniper | Medic | Engineer | Flamethrower

Team-specific classes

Flamethrowers weren't so common during WW2, but they excel at clearing pillboxes and small areas. A flamethrower starts with 300 units of fuel and the fueltank on his back can be shot. It's a very dangerous class to be when you're out in the open. This class is rather slow compared to the others but still has his own advantages. Remember, when you burn yourself, you need to put water on it! This class is the same for every team, except for the Japanese team where this class was replaced by a team-specific one.

The Japanese team lacks a flamethrower but instead has a unit that throws Molotov cocktails. He starts off with 5 Molotovs.

Himmy's server went offline, unfortunately, this time it will stay offline. Himmy rented the server and considering the small community it was time to let go.

There are several packages which vary from only the essential files to an archive holding the most common maps and addons to a complete and full install of DDay: Normandy.

To play DDay: Normandy online you need a server browser.

Remember to read the rules before you join a server to avoid unpleasant situations.
