Standard mappool for August
I know it’s a bit late but I didn’t want to keep it from you: this month’s standard mappool. TDM seems to be rolling with 3 viable maps, which are Intervention, Purgatory and Terminatria. Of course if you really want to you can play others.
As for CTF, expect the most played maps to be Fallout Bunker, Skyward and Bloodlust on the pubs, but if you’re looking for more diversity you might want to give Shining Forces and Spider Crossings a go as they are quality maps.
Cure and Toxicity will be the maps to practice for duel this month and nesting itself between CA and Duel we can find Thunderstruck in the maplist. In terms of Clan Arena, I think you’ll find yourself stuck in an endless loop of people voting for Overkill whenever it’s a choice.
The August 2013 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 25 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.
Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle.
