IEM EU Final rounds
The Intel Extreme Masters Championship Finals are coming to an end, as the final part of this massive competition is being played on an offline location, being the ESL TV Studios in Cologne from January 21st to 24th.
And several things are at stake for the remaining 16 competitors (*) !
- You get to call yourself champion! Yay! 😀
- A giant pot of gold, worth $9000 will be divided among all finalists: 1st $3500, 2nd $1500, 3rd $1000 and 4th $700 and scraps for the others 😉 (see left column on esl-iem4-cologne page)
- You get to be on tv as ESL TV will stream all these games!
- The top 6 players of the IEM-EU tournament will qualify for CeBIT 2010 World Championships versus the finalists of the American (see who qualified) and Asian IEM (to be concluded early February).
The World Championships will be held at Cebit 2010 in Hanover, Germany on March 2nd to 6th
(*) Stermy still needs to play 2 games (vs l1nkje and kRoNic) before a full table of the QL finalists can be made available, but you can of course have a look at what has been going on in the final qualifying rounds so far here!
