Premium Pak 19 sneak peek
A sneak peek on the upcoming Premium Pak 19 has been released by Id Software, and I apologize for being a tad late with it. When the news was posted on the QL website, I was, and still am, at the hospital with my wife. To cut a long story short, I’m the proud father of a boy! Let’s look at this update now, shall we.
The sneak peek is all about CTF, all maps should ring a bell for players from Quake 3. I have unfortunately skipped Q3 by sticking to Quake 2 for a bit too long, but judging by the screenshots all maps look like fun. The maps will be Future Crossings, Gospel Crossings and Railyard, all by the hand of Dan Scancode Gold.
Future Crossings and Gospel Crossings are converted maps, but Railyard appears to be Scancode’s Silly Railings map, completely rebuilt from scratch. What I remember from Railyard in a far and distant memory is to avoid the jump pads at all costs. I’ve yet to see how the other maps play, but it won’t be long until QLPP19 is released.
